Located in Okaihau in the Far North, our brand new 50M2 luxury apartment is a real treat for those who want to relax. The apartment is fully serviced. It has one bedroom, ensuite bathroom, separate toilet and the kitchen is in the lounge area. We are in a semi-rural setting, close to the bike trail (100 metres) that runs from Opua, Kawakawa, Kaikohe, Okaihau and the Hokianga Harbour. After a day on the bike or in the car we can offer you a special dinner in our farmhouse kitchen, so you can relax and also stretch your legs on our park-like property.
We are located quite central in the Far North; By car you can travel from here and back in one day to Cape Reinga. Of course Kerikeri, the Bay of Islands, the Hokianga Harbour and Dargaville are much closer and offer shopping, beaches and sightseeing.

There is a Take-away in Okaihau, but there are no restaurants. Closest supermarkets are Kaikohe or Kerikeri.
We offer a two course dinner if you don’t want to cook yourself. This is a cash sale of $40 pp. You can choose from a varied menu before you arrive. Please ask for the menu when you make your booking, because the menu changes with the seasons and Jeannette needs time to shop!
Jeannette’s kitchen equals a very good restaurant: She is an accomplished chef who cooks international cuisine. She caters for standard, vegetarian and vegan diners, and/or keto and gluten free. All food is home made without commercially processed products. No sugar is added to dishes.
Alcohol is not served to minors. No soft drinks are served i.e. cola or, please bring your own. Fruit juice is available.

Ideas for the Northland Bike Trail
You park your car at Opua. You cycle from Opua to Okaihau, fairly easy, low grade, 59Km. You stay with us for the night. The next morning you cycle down hill to Horeke, have lunch at the Horeke pub, and cycle back, uphill, to Okaihau, 56Km. By that time you are ready to spend another relaxing night with us, before heading back to Opua. You can leave any non essential gear with us and enjoy the grade 3 ride!
